Gateway to undiscovered Greece and the beautiful Ionian islands, Preveza sits on the eastern coast of the mainland in the region of Epirus.  Myths and legends are woven into the landscape; the legend of Achilles lives on near the village of Glyki and the present day River Acheron is believed to be the ancient River Styx.
