Zakynthos

Zante also known as Zakynthos, is the beach haven of the Ionian islands.   Spectacular swathes of flat golden sands are lapped by azure waters and considered to be some of the finest in Greece.

The sands of Kalamaki and Gerekas are home to nestling caretta Caretta Turtles and on the stunning sands of Sugglers Cive lies one of Zantes most intriguing sights, its famous sunken shipwreck.

Its flat terrain is perfect fro exploration by foot or bike.  Visit the lively harbour capital of Zante Town, its tavernas spilling over onto pavements and historic town squares.  For hot summer nights Laganas is the place to go;  the pubs, clubs, and discos are all open till Lte, the fun part atmosphere a magnet for the islands many young clubbers.
